A Very Special Mother's Day

The best gift of all for Mother's Day came on Saturday for me this year. I had all my children (except for Norma - we missed you honey!) in the temple to share with Josh receiving his endowment prior to his mission. It was such a wonderful day to all be together. We celebrated by going out for lunch afterwards and we were joined by my grand kids. What a special day, one that will probably not be repeated too often. How grateful I am for children who are obedient and love the Lord and are willing to live by His precepts. I couldn't ask for a better gift for Mother's Day!!

Hi Peggy...This is a voice from YOUR past!! I got to your blog from Kaci's. How fun to see a family picture right at the top...and you have grandchildren?? That's hard to imagine, how many and who do they belong to? I have a blog too, check it out, if you like, it's much cuter that Kaci's and waaayyy more informative!! Sorry about your recent surgery, it's looks painful, I hope you recover FAST!! Fun to see you!!

Peggy... Holy Cow!! What fun we used to have. How are you and what have you been up to for all these years? Don't you love how how my mom rips on my boring blog... as you can see, nothing has changed. She still expects perfection from me and I am content with mediocracy. One of these days SHE will have to come to a realization. Until then, keep in touch and I will too. Thanks for finding me.

What an amazing gift on Mother's Day from Heavenly Father. I'm sure you couldn't think of a better gift. You all make a beautiful family on the inside and out. I hope you frame that photo, because it's gorgeous and speaks volumes. Happy Mother's Day to you! Love ya!

YIPPEE! I am so glad we can be blogbuddies. I am babysitting Shannon's 2 little guys and only have a minute (Not even that if I were wise...). I will be in regular contact and able to read your blog in a week or so. Shannon and Derek are in Spain for another week.

Dear Peggy,
I am so happy to find your comment on Kris's blog. John and I think of you often. John is hoping we can get in touch with you...I hope that you will leave me a comment on my blog with an email address that we can reach you.

What a wonderful mother's day you had. There is nothing as wonderful as being in the temple with your children. John and I got that thrill last Dec. It was so special. We are temple workers so we got to officiate with our children there with us. Heaven...pure Heaven.
Congrat for raising a great family who love the Lord and serve Him. Tell your Elder, Josh we are happy for his mission call and his willingness to serve.

I hope you will drop by my blog and say "hello" I would love to keep in touch.
Love, Lura
